Since stepping on the scene, Netra Antionette has supplied her readers with consistent stories of love threaded in truth and healing. I first encountered Netra’s words through her Sunday Crown Sessions series when I was honestly in a very low place. After being faced with the loss of family members, I hadn’t realized I wasn’t okay until life forced me to sit down and take a moment.
During that time, I returned to Netra’s Sunday Crown Sessions series, which I had started months earlier, and I fell heart-first into these short stories that highlighted the healing found in women’s friendships and community. The series lifted me while also giving me permission to slow down and grieve.
From that point on, I became really serious about exploring Netra Antionette’s catalog. I’ve found that whether you’re reading about the complexities of the early stages of a relationship in the Hideaway Haven series, reveling in the unapologetic freedom of Heaux Phase or exploring erotic suspense in her Mind, Body & Soul series, Netra consistently delivers Black love, complex characters, and women on emotional journeys.
I recently got the opportunity to read her upcoming traditional release, Silent Surrender, releasing June 30, 2026. Along with being the author’s first traditional release, this will also mark her first deep dive into the psychological thriller and dark romance space. The emotionally charged thriller explores three sisters’ journeys as they confront a violent past.
